Hotel Pigalle: La Belle Époque Brought to Life

Written by Christopher A.7 years ago

If you are a romantic at heart and wished you could live through La Belle Époque in Paris – Hotel Pigalle offers you a chance to experience it in person.

Hotel Pigalle not only takes visual cues from a sin- and playful Paris in the early 1900s. Warm colors, decadent wallpaper, unique rooms and personalised service are keywords at this newly opened time machine located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Let’s go deeper into the rabbit hole and see what’s on the other side.

The hotel is located in a 18th-century building that’s been lovingly restored and renovated to take you back to another époque. Each room has a different vibe, and no two rooms are a like. The hotel has 26 individually decorated rooms to fall in love with, if only for just one unforgettable night. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:00.

Hotel Pigalle is also home to the decadent restaurant Atelier and the voluptuous Bar Amuse. The restaurant doesn’t have a set menu, but instead change it up and offer up a handpicked selection of entremets with focus on the ingredients. The flavors follow the seasons and the moods of the curious and passionate Atelier chefs.

There is a whole world outside Hotel Pigalle, but who would want to leave this magical place?
