At Dukes Bar in London, head bartender Alessandro Palazzi makes a special blend of the Vesper by using No. 3 London Dry Gin, Kina Lillet Vermouth, Angostura bitters and Potocki vodka. The latter in honor of the real-life inspiration for the Vesper – Polish-born Christine Granville – who was reportedly Fleming’s lover.
