Wishlist: Renovated Victorian House in London

Written by Christopher A.8 years ago

If you always wanted to live in a refined Victorian house in a fashionable post code in London, here’s your chance. This renovated end-of-the-terrace house is up for grabs.

The Victorian three-story house is located on Arlington Avenue in London. From the front you can not imagine that there is a two-storey extension at the back (designed by architects Paul Archer Design). The house features three bedrooms, a master bathroom, a kitchen with separate dining area, a living room and a fabulous, raised study with a separate terrace overlooking the garden at the back of the house. The lower ground floor has its own entrance which leads into the kitchen and dining area.

The house has been meticulously refined with fine details throughout. Several rooms feature bespoke furniture, the bathroom for instance, has vintage French sanitaryware (who can say they have that at home?). The kitchen uses curve-edged black and white porcelain tiles with contrasting grout. Original Victorian features have been preserved as much as possible, including the stripped timber floorboards, fireplaces and the staircase.

For more information about this lovely Victorian property, head over to The Modern House which is currently listing it for £1,650,000.
